As you may know, since early this year BME has been filming a major world tour movie, documenting the body modification and body ritual subculture in its own words. As we travel around the world, we meet with amazing people and witness incredible events. All of this will be combined for a feature length movie being theatrically released in 2004, along with a series of DVDs overflowing with bonus materials.

We are currently doing a 60-day filming spree across the USA and Canada, and we need your help! We are seeking talent to include in the movie:

  • Performance groups (suspension teams, sideshow artists, etc.)
  • Private performers (extreme CBT exhibitionists, erotic performances, unusual body modification procedures, etc.)
  • Amazing modifications (concept tattoos, split genitals, facial sculpting, extreme corsetry, eunuchs, you name it), and the practitioners that do them.
  • Bands with tattooed or otherwise modified individuals (we'd like to film you performing and include your music in the soundtrack).
Don't be shy! This movie will be the definitive and perhaps only snapshot of this community as we take on the 21st century. It's important that we allow ourselves to be documented in a positive light and our record for doing so speaks for itself!
