In the states, if you decide to not put money into a parking meter, it’s a civil infraction (less than a misdemeanor). If you say to the person with you, “We’ll just be a minute, so don’t put any money into the meter,” then it’s felony conspiracy for both of you.

A bunch of cops came into the holding cell and took pictures with me and had a good laugh at my expense. Needless to say, I’ve taken great care to make wiser choices in my clothing when taking place in questionable activities.

Not much love or happiness was sent to Dreamhost at that time by all its customers for how much they had issues.

i bet your right about the ‘mob action’ charge, the cops love any way they can trump up minor offenses. they often give multiple charges for the same thing, to intimidate and make the perp sound wicked. once you get to court most of it is thrown out, if you have a clue!
