I totally sympathize with random health issues and improper or lacking assessment. I’m lucky it hasn’t been nearly as serious as yours appear to be. Nonetheless, “I guess you have a mild non-specific auto-immune issue” wasn’t exactly a reassuring diagnosis after a year and a half of not being able to get out of bed for weeks at a time, which jeopardized not only my degree but my and my husband’s visas. I’m glad that the EMS team was on it but I hope you can get all the in-depth followup care you need and that you don’t have any further episodes. I can’t imagine how scary that must have been.
