Joan and I had a day packed with birthday parties for Anika to attend and the best was a face-painting, magician, clown. She was REALLY good! I think Joan grabbed a card- maybe she’s a traveling clown?

One of our most successful parties was one where there was one balloon, and a bunch of kids, in our yard.

Another cool idea is a deconstruction party – get a bunch of stuff that doesn’t work, screwdrivers, and see what’s inside. That was super fun – all the grownups at the party did it too.
